Tips for Your Photo Session

First and foremost, arrive early! You will feel better about your session if you have time to calm down, fix your look and prepare yourself for the shoot.

Clothing- Avoid stripes, bold patterns, plaid, and colors that may seem to "wash you out." Bring a variety of styles and colors so that you have more to choose from. Avoid pastels in large groups. Basic, solid colors make the best photos. Then, the eye will not go directly to the piece of clothing and will focus on the whole picture instead.

Seniors, bring the clothing that represents you, but also remember that your parents are most likely going to want a more formal, dressy photo of you.

Jewelry- Avoid bright, flashy or shiny jewelry. Keep it simple.

Hair- Make sure you bring a comb or hairbrush with you to your session! You'll want to check your hair frequently to make sure it does not get out of hand. Also, be sure to avoid changing your hairstyle dramatically before your session.
